A voter that is incapacitated due to illness or death of an immediate family member after the seventh day preceding an election can request an emergency absentee ballot before 2 p.m. on the day before the election.
Completed application must be delivered back to the local registrar’s office by 5:00 p.m. the day before the election

Emergency Absentee Ballot List
Voters seeking eligibility to vote an emergency absentee ballot must be:
Confined, or expect to be confined, in a hospital or other healthcare facility within the county of residence or other authorized area on Election Day;
Residing in a nursing home, within the county of residence, and would be otherwise unable to vote in person; or
Working as a replacement poll worker assigned to be out of their voting district, only if the assignment was made after the period for voting in person has expired. 5

Voters that are confined to a healthcare facility or replacing a poll worker on Election Day qualify for an emergency absentee ballot. Upon the request for an emergency absentee ballot, two commissioners (one from each party) can deliver the emergency absentee ballot to a healthcare facility.
