STEP-BY-STEP HOW TO VOTE

1.

Check Your Voter Registration

2.

Request Your Ballot

Oregon elections are now conducted entirely by mail. As a result, you will still be able access and cast your ballot even if you are hospitalized.

If you're unable to access a printer, contact your Patient Voting team at patientvoting@gmail.com and we will help deliver materials to you.

3.

Obtain Your Ballot

Registered voters are mailed a ballot two to three weeks before an election.

A congregate living facility may form a Facility Assistance Team to assist voters living in their facility. Teams must be made up of two registered voters that are not of the same political party.

4.

Vote!

Fill out your ballot!

5.

Drop off your Absentee Ballot

Ballots may be mailed to the appropriate county elections office. You can find more information about your county elections office here. Your ballot may also be dropped off at an official drop box across the state. Locations can be found here. The latter method is preferred with a week of the election to ensure that it is received by the deadline. Ballots must be received by 8 PM on Election Day.

If you have difficulty with getting your ballot to the County Elections office, contact your Patient Voting team at patientvoting@gmail.com and we will help figure this out.
